What is The Poison Lab?
The Poison Lab is an educational show where experts in toxicology and poisoning discuss the infinite poisons the world has to offer. The show focuses on the history, toxicity, and medical management of poisons. While healthcare workers can listen in to gain deeper insights on the effects of poisons and how to treat them, anyone can listen in to find out about the history and science of poisons.

Who Runs The Poison Lab?

Dr. Ryan Feldman PharmD, DABAT is the chief scientist at The Poison Lab. He works as a Clinical Toxicologist, Emergency Medicine Pharmacist, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Emergency medicine.
Ryan received a Doctorate of Pharmacy and completed two years of post doctoral residency training focused in emergency medicine and toxicology. After residency he continued work in an emergency department and at a local poison center. After many years managing emergencies and poisonings he became a Board Certified Clinical Toxicologist with the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT). Along with teaching and doing research, he works full time in an emergency department helping to treat sick patients and consulting on poisoned patients as a poison center toxicologist.
He enjoys trying to grow toxic plants and suffers from a severe case of rabbit hole syndrome. Frequently being found buried in obscure literature trying to find the meaning of it all.

Dr. Toxo is the Director of The Poison Lab.
Toxo downloaded three Doctorates in Robo-Toxicology, Robotic Engineering, and Humo-Toxicology from Isaac Asminov Online University. Before relocating to The Poison Lab as chief robo-toxicolgist, Toxo held many roles at Isaac Asminov University Hospital. Job titles ranged from vending machine to chief of highly invasive robotic surgery. During that time Toxo completed advanced fellowships in radiographic vision, ultrasound detection, and functioning as a mobile ECMO unit. In addition to a load bearing capacity of 5000 lb, Toxo carries many important responsibilities at The Poison Lab.
